Track Name: Right Person, Wrong Time
Was mistaken when I thought
I wanted what I got,
And what I wanted
Then got away

I had my chances once
At happiness and such,
But my shot was lost,
And I’m the one to blame.

I’ve seen the truth unfold
Right before my eyes.

Right person, wrong time,
I’ll see you go your own way baby
Wish I hadn’t been so blind
It hurts to see what we could have been
Ain’t nobody’s fault but mine.

He was level-headed and steady
But I doubted he was ready
Foolishly I lumped him
With the rest.

With no reason to wait
He found love reciprocate.
Now I’m praying for the strength
To wish them the best

Deny my heart’s intent
For the sake of pride.

Right person, wrong time,
I’ll see you go your own way baby
Wish I hadn’t been so blind
It hurts to see what we could have been
Ain’t nobody’s fault but mine.

Right person, wrong time,
I’ll see you go your own way baby
Wish I hadn’t been so blind
It hurts to see what we could have been
Ain’t nobody’s fault but mine.
Track Name: Old Lovers
Fool me once or a hundred times
In my heart, it’s all the same
Star-crossed lovers or just repeat offenders?
Maybe a habit’s to blame.

Cause old friends aren’t always the best,
But old lovers are the worst
A ticket’s not the winner
Just because you bought it first.
Not every bottle of wine
Tastes sweeter over time,
So maybe it’s best to lose those ties
And get on with your life.

When winning fights and being right
Becomes a priority,
There’s little to gain from that sort of pain,
Except a false sense of security.

Cause old friends aren’t always the best,
But old lovers are the worst
A ticket’s not the winner
Just because you bought it first.
Not every bottle of wine
Tastes sweeter over time,
So maybe it’s best to lose those ties
And get on with your life.

You feel trepidation
When the train leaves the station
Going towards bigger and brighter things.
Don’t go on attack or
Try to call it back,
No peace for you will that bring.

Cause old friends aren’t always the best,
But old lovers are the worst
A ticket’s not the winner
Just because you bought it first.
Not every bottle of wine
Tastes sweeter over time,
So maybe it’s best to lose those ties
And get on with your life.
And, get on with your life.
Track Name: The Answer
He asked me “where’s your sense of wonder,
Why do you cry when the morning comes?”
I told him it got lost somewhere,
Why did it go? I do not know.

Now I’m looking for the answer to his question
Searching for something real to say
But I find there’s nothing here to look for
It’s just the same sad story every day.

He asked me when did I stop dancing,
“There’s a cure to fix this ache.”
He asked me where was I looking,
“If it’s not there, you’re in the wrong place”.

Now I’m looking for the answer to his question
Searching for something real to say
But I find there’s nothing here to look for
It’s just the same sad story every day.

Going down the road feeling bad now,
I don’t feel wrong, just not quite right.
Lucky the journey isn’t over,
We’ll ramble on, throughout the night.

Now I’m looking for the answer to his question
Searching for something real to say
But I find there’s nothing here to look for
It’s just the same sad story every day.

It’s just the same sad story every day.
